The driver can always depend on AGROCOM E-DRIVE. It’s designed to guide the tractor parallel to the previous path and it corrects itself over straight and curving parallel tracks. The driver is free to take over the steering whenever he or she wants. This system is flexible in operation and totally compatible with all versions of OUTBACK®S2 und S3. Fully automatic steering and reliable driving thanks to AGROCOM E-DRIVE.
» Use the full working width, even in bad light.
AGROCOM E-DRIVE keeps the tractor and implement on a track which is exactly parallel to the base line, whether this is straight or contoured. This capability to follow the given track helps to reduce operating costs with your equipment, especially when it’s very dusty, in the dark or foggy conditions. Not only that, but your driver is more relaxed and will appreciate the added comfort which staves off exhaustion over long shifts.
» Pinpoint the position where work restarts.
Once the first track has been laid, AGROCOM E-DRIVE defines all the parallel tracks for correct working over the rest of the plot, for instance in beet. You can take a break without losing your bearings because the system always guides you back to the place where you stopped.
» Simultaneous area calculation.
All of the positioning data can be filed as you go on a hand held device, enabling you to document where the tramlines are.
» Easy retrofit.
AGROCOM E-DRIVE is available for a wide range of farm equipment (tractors, combine harvesters, other self propelled machines) providing they are fitted with hydraulic steering.
» Components and control location.
If you would like to equip your tractor with automatic parallel guidance you’ll require the OUTBACK® component set plus an AGROCOM E-DRIVE box and an AGROCOM E-DRIVE steering valve for the installation. The OUTBACK ® terminal can continue to be used flexibly, whilst the new ergonomic installation position behind the B post is designed to be user friendly and means you can put other terminals like CEBIS MOBILE in the same place. Visibility is not impeded.
