 The DGPS signal can be passed on via a serial connector (RS232) as usual or via Bluetooth. If you take a hand held device along for recording the activities, you can employ wireless transfer of the data and then feed the information into your field index system on the office PC. All of the positioning data can be stored in parallel on a hand held device, so you can for instance document precisely where the tracks are.
