As a user you get your own individual correction signal. Alternatively you can club together with your neighbours and use the signal from a CLAAS dealer. This enables you to share the costs for the broadcast frequency and transmitter. The signal can be used in a 15 km radius for any number of machines which you need to stay on track with maximum accuracy.

The fixed RTK unit is made up of a box with receiver, power supply and transmitter. The aerial for the GPS and radio signals needs to be mounted higher up, for instance on top of a silo or chimney stack. The machine is fitted out with a GPS receiver and a separate radio receiver. The DGPS signal picks up the RTK bearings within a few minutes making the system quickly operational.   

Professional farm management calls for high precision which can be reproduced easily.  The signal must be picked up with minimum delay, the system has to have high efficiency and plenty of range. If you’ve already tried out other correction signals, you should bear in mind that RTK keeps running, even if a satellite goes off station, because the system supports a rapid changeover to the normal working mode.
