CLAAS Agrosystems has been awarded a silver medal at Agritechnica 2011 for its innovative telemetric system TONI. TONI – TELEMATICS ON IMPLEMENT bundles and speeds up direct data transfer from the tractor and implements to the office via an ISOBUS.
With this tool, CLAAS Agrosystems has expanded the range of TELEMATICS to implements, providing for the first time a clear overview of the entire working unit. TONI, developed by CLAAS Agrosystems in cooperation with leading implement manufacturers (Amazone, Horsch, KaWeCo, Lemken, SGT and Zunhammer) enables farmer to complete their documentation, evaluation and analyses as well as optimise settings, independent of brand.
Bundled data transfer from the tractor and implements improves remote diagnosis and gives farm managers a clearer overview. The system helps the farm manager to keep an eye on what's going on in the field in real time. He no longer concentrates on individual machines but on the interplay between the tractor and implements.
Whether speed, quantity or machine settings: The performance and job data for the entire unit are pooled together in the Internet and provide information about the current performance. This means that synergy effects can be exploited and efficiency reserves exhausted to the full. The event log is a valuable tool for analysing and evaluating performance and process data.
The silver medal was awarded by an impartial commission of experts appointed by the DLG (German Agriculture Association). This award demonstrates the continued success of CLAAS Agrosystems when it comes to innovations in agriculture. In previous years the Gütersloh company has regularly won medals for its products.
